A Tribute to Allison

I have been fortunate to have known Allison Waldman (Solow) for 17 years. She was one of the most knowledgeable Barbra fans I have known, if not THE most.
I was able to visit her in the hospital two Sundays ago. She was not feeling well and apologized that she wasn't in the mood for company. I responded that there was no need to apologize- it's Sunday and I just had to have my Sunday with Allison. That put a big smile on her face. While I only spent a few seconds with her that day, the image of her smiling will last me a lifetime.
