Watch Closely Now

CBS Sunday Morning recently did a feature on sad movies. It talked about how they don't make them like they use to. One of the reasons being the target audience for movies is males under the age of 25 along with the global market appeal. Loud, action-adventure movies are now the major moneymakers.
I kept waiting for a clip from The Way We Were, to no avail. Finally at the end of the feature they showed a clip from A Star is Born without mentioning it by name. Turned out to be a nice touch to conclude on as the curtains closed.
