Movies on TV - On a Clear Day

A positive review. Certain scenes and the musical numbers are "delicious". As much as I want to love this movie the lack of chemistry between the two leads really sinks this one.

Movies on TV - Funny Girl

I bought the paperback Movies on TV (1978-79 Revised Edition) way back when it was a new book. It's seen better days, but it's a great source for old movies new ones too, circa 1978.

They loved Funny Girl, no surprise there. I had trouble patching the review together- it was split between columns. The rest of the article says "Merrill hit "People." Director William Wyler deserves credit for having handled Barbra's film debut so superbly. (155 mins.)

Paul Keith in Funny Girl

You won't see him in the end credits, but Paul Keith played the choreographer in Funny Girl (leaning against the piano). He still gets a royalty everytime the movie is aired (No, I didn't ask how much. Sure, I was curious but thought it would be rude to ask).
