The Way We Were filming locations Part 22

Uh, yeah.
Sadly, the "Good Whip Restaurant" is no more. It was an ice crean parlor in real life at the time of filming. It is now a title company. Well, that's progress I guess. It's located in Ballston Spa, about a 30 minute drive from Schenectady.

  1. This parlor was owned and operated by my uncle, John Frisbie, a life long resident of Ballston Spa. Nice to see it in your blog.

  2. Hello Jim:
It's great that you found the parlor here. Were you around when they filmed there? Any stories (or photos) that you would like to share?

  3. We bought a booth from this restaurant after the filming when they had it for sale. Just curious if it has any value.
