Still waiting for this one to come out on DVD. I saw it on that All-Stars bootleg video way back around 1980 during the early years of video rentals. Maybe it'll be on that mega-DVD package that they're talking about.

Just finished watching Barbra on Katie's show. Great interview. Great questions. After all these years, it's very difficult to get an interview with anything new or fresh. We've heard all the stories so we become jaded. This one is definately one of the better ones.

A Star is Born in San Antonio

Another clipping for the San Antonio engagement of A Star is Born. The UA Cine Cinco theater had just opened that past summer at Windsor Park Mall. While it was new, it was strictly a bare-bones theater. I remember it was screening on 2 screens! The Wonder theater was a nice theater when it was built in the '60s, next to the Wonderland Mall. By the 70's it had been triplexed and the seats weren't re-aligned to the new screen. There were better theaters in the city for such a major film.
