The Funny Girl theater and alley show up in Columbia Pictures 1961 thriller Underworld, U.S.A. Thank goodness they got rid of the dead guy in the alley before Barbra walked down it.
These cups were available for a very limited time at a local movie theater. No image of Barbra, but her name is on the cup- a Barbra first. Maybe they will distribute My Mother's Curse movie cups next year.
Here's a movie review of A Star is Born from the Horn-n-Hoof, our high school newspaper. It's called the Horn-n-Hoof because our football mascot was a unicorn! I'm not joking, it really was.
Obviously this illustration was to promote Funny Lady. Other than that, I don't remember much about this clipping from my collection (that tends to happen after 30 some-odd years).
